REBG plans to develop the Reems Creek Renewable Energy Facility, a modular style structure that will allow us to build new facilities that are scalable to any site and are relatively simple to erect and connect to the power grid.
REBG has received approval for Proposed Construction of the Reems Creek Renewable Energy Facility with both the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the North Carolina Utility Commission (NCUC).
The proposed solar renewable energy facility is slated to begin construction by Spring, 2013 and be completed within about 120 days. This project will be located at 143 Reems Creek Road, Weaverville, NC, Buncombe County, about 10 miles north of Asheville.
This property will be utilized under a utility style limited easement on approximately 2 acres with such easement including the right to build and operate the renewable energy facility.
